Terms of Service
The terms under which Make It operates, and what you're agreeing to by using it.
1. The service
Make It is early software. It's under active development, offered to a limited group of founders, and provided free of charge unless we tell you otherwise in writing. Early means things may break, change, or work differently next week than they do today.
2. Use your judgment about what you send
We keep message content indefinitely, and it's visible to the team that runs Make It — see our Privacy Policy for the full picture. If something is too sensitive to sit in a database indefinitely, don't put it in the chat. Please don't send us anything you'd be uncomfortable having stored.
3. Automated & AI-generated replies
You are talking to an automated system. Replies are generated by an AI language model (Anthropic's Claude), not typed by a person in real time, unless we say otherwise.
Anything Make It tells you about your business is guidance from a model, not advice from a professional. It is not legal advice, financial advice, medical advice, or any other kind of professional advice. If you'd rather speak with a person directly, text HELP and we'll get back to you.
4. Eligibility & conduct
You must be at least 18 years old to use Make It. Don't use the service to send unlawful, abusive, or harassing content, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer how it operates.
5. Your data
We collect your name, company, time zone, WhatsApp number, and the full content of every message, and we keep it indefinitely rather than on a schedule. You can ask us to delete or export it at any time by emailing privacy@gomakeit.ai. See our Privacy Policy for details on who can see it and who we share it with.
6. If the operator changes
If Kismet Consulting LLC transfers or winds down Make It, these terms and the data they cover go with it. Whoever operates the service next inherits these obligations. They don't disappear because the name on the account changes.
7. No warranty
Make It is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, while it is under active development. We do not guarantee that replies will always be accurate or available. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service, to the fullest extent the law allows.
8. Governing law
Arizona law governs these terms. That's true even if a dispute involves someone or something in another state.
9. Changes
We may update these terms or our Privacy Policy as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date above.
